SQUEEEE!!! T-Minus 22 Days Until Harry!!!

OMG! I now know why teens use this term so much. OMG describes that squirmy excited feeling that overwhelms your body to the point that you think you're going to BURST!! I can not explain how excited I am about the release of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part I the MOVIE!!

Have you seen the trailer? If you haven't, you need to go see it RIGHT NOW. Go. It's ok. I'll wait.

Aren't you totally beside yourself from the suspense of it all?!? I don't know how I'm going to wait until midnight November 18th. Yes, I'm going to the midnight movie. Go ahead. Judge Me. See if I care.

To top things off, I'll actually be in San Francisco that week for a conference and the theater is literally like a block from my hotel. Double squee!!!  To prepare myself for the release I will be re-reading the Deathly Hallows. Although, I don't know why I always insist on re-reading the book prior to the movie release, because then all I do after the movie is point out all the things that were different from the book. Sigh. I'm still going to re-read it anyway.

  1. I'm seeing each seven times at least. Yes, Harry, I love you enough to waste my money on you.

I will certainly cry come July.

For the record, I'm going at midnight as well.

  2. AHH I AM SO EXCITED TOO!!!!!! i want to go at midnight, but i have a 6AM flight the next morning to michigan. hopefully my hotel will be near an airport..

  3. Liam- I think I'll cry in July too.

Kaleigh- good luck getting to a theater. I don't know what i'd do if I was in your position.

  4. I can't wait to see it, even though I know it's going to end in some frustrating spot and I'll have to wait all that time for the final one.

If you get a chance tomorrow, please stop by my blog. I'm hosting a Halloween Haunting!

  5. It should be great! But I don't go to the movie theater so I have to wait for it to come out on DVD. I know crazy.

  6. Anita, I'm haunting you from Theresa's. Great blog here, I'm your #63 follower, yay! Nice to *meet* you :)

  7. My kids all want to go to the midnight show, but I don't think I can handle the hangover...I'll live it thru you. Have fun!

  8. Holly & Karen- thanks for joining in the hogwarts fun.
Anita- when I read your comment I thought it was a comment that I wrote. Which confused me since I don't have kids, and then I eventually figured it out. :)

  9. Boo! Hi Anita - I am here from Theresa's Blog Haunting Party. :)

I know what you mean about re-reading the book before the movie. I have always done that with every HP film too. I actually didn't realise there was so little time to wait now!

  10. Hi, I stopped by from Theresa's blog.

I am sooooo excited for the new HP movie. I'm totally going to the midnight showing. I might even go in costume! I'm trying to talk my husband into going as Ginny and Harry on their wedding day :)

  11. Squeeeee! This is going to be *awesome,* but I'll be so sad for it to be over. For once, I don't think they're exaggerating when they say it'll be the "motion picture event of a generation."

(PS anti-spam word is "nobiardi." Sounds like it should be a wizard name)

  12. Part 1? Didn't realise it was going to be in two parts. I'm afraid I'm one of the plebs who's not read a HP book yet, but have seen the movies and enjoyed them. Looking forward to this one!

Popped by from Halloween Hauntings. You've got yourself a new follower! :)
