I relax and read to refuel myself, and I return to my manuscript with fresh eyes and insights. The break clears my head and prevents burn-out.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6379773217495837003.post-7044367793510629522010-06-12T06:58:47.066-05:002010-06-12T06:58:47.066-05:00Thanks for dropping by guys! I don't believe in the idea that we have to write X number of words every day, rain or shine. Sometimes (often?) a bit of real life experience is worth thousands of empty sentences.Thomas Taylorhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12987047131104943571noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6379773217495837003.post-16921508140898297112010-06-10T16:52:35.257-05:002010-06-10T16:52:35.257-05:00I agree with all of your reasons. If we don't live, what will we have to write about? And don't we deserve a break from our work, no matter how much we love it.Theresa Milsteinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03477761307315565259noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6379773217495837003.post-43590610075116419682010-06-10T16:04:16.598-05:002010-06-10T16:04:16.598-05:00The reality for me is that life has to come first....The reality for me is that life has to come first. Besides, if you don't experience life, how can you write about it? I can't sit behind a computer all day writing brilliant prose. I'm sure there are those out there who can do it, but I'm not one of them.Amy Johttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05083333388180804799noreply@blogger.com
